I was at the SONODWAE3 ART EXHIBITION’22(an annual event where students from STU exhibit their artworks and designs) . It was really cool. There were lots and lots of splendid exhibited works of art ranging from fashion 👗 to ceramics🏺.
I’d like to share some of the amazing works which caught my eye.✨✨
The work I really adored was the one on recycling. The designer made artefacts and designs from recycled plastic water bags .
My second best favorite was on Global Warming and Thrift flipping. #sustainable fashion 🌳🌎.

Whether its just a vacation week or a business trip , its sometimes quite a hassle figuring out what to pack .🤔 It gets even more puzzling when you’ve got luggage restrictions.
Well ……one secret is that, it’s not very difficult once you take it a bit at a time. Here are somethings you’d want to consider when choosing clothes for travel.
1. Essentials
There are some very important clothing items you just can’t go anywhere without.
Undergarments/underwear
Pyjamas /nightgowns
Slippers/flip-flops
Tops , shirts
Trousers/jeans/skirts/shorts
Dresses
Light weighted jacket
Casual shoes.
2.The Destination
The climate the season and the culture of the of your destination have to determine the type of clothes you choose. Blazers , jackets , scarves , boots , socks and sweaters should be chosen when visiting a colder place. For visiting places in the summer or in the equatorial or tropical regions you must choose light weighted clothes to make movements very comfortable.(and less sweaty👍) . Also a lot of research must be done so as to prevent offending other cultures with your clothes.
3. The purpose
When going for tours , it’s advisable to bring along comfy outfit especially if you’ll be walking a lot. I’m sure you wouldn’t enjoy hiking or walking around in high heels 😅👠. Nope 😬. Some flats , sneakers, sandals or convers and a pair of jeans , skirts and some simple T-shirts will do .
But for business trips💼👔 , you’ll definitely have to bring along formal outfits (suits, blazers, neckties, etc) . And for formal occasion and evening events : black tie outfits, jewelry, gowns and heels .
4. Duration.
Imagine running out of clothes on the 3rd of the 7 days of your vacay. Pack according to how long you’ll spend . Pro tip( don’t over-pack, essentials first)
Round up
2 dresses or jumpsuits,
2 pairs of jeans and skirts each ,
some fun tops , light weighted jacket,
sneakers, sandals , slip-ons and some other casual stuff (don’t forget the sunglasses for summer)😎😎.
Formal outfits for business and black tie outfits for evenings.
Ear muffs, gloves , scarves, jackets and coats , socks and boots(cold destinations)
And a suitcase to put everything+other mini travel containers

You’ll need just beads , an elastic string and a pair of scissors. Just string the beads (string more beads for a bigger size) and tie it up , no metal hooks or chains needed .
